Speckled buff clay, flecked all the way through with iron that comes up dark in the firing. Smoke grey glaze over the top, which lands somewhere closer to olive on a clay body this warm... one of those glazes that decides what it wants to be only after it meets the clay. A sunburst at the center, rays pressed out around the opening. Mountain peaks worked along the entire rim, all the way around. Caramel Italian leather. Brass accents. Born in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California.
It belongs with olive and khaki and rust and cream. With denim. With everything already hanging in the earth-toned half of your closet.
