Solstice Moon is a large handmade ceramic wall hanging pressed with abalone and coral — the textures of the ocean captured in sandy white clay under a white frost glaze that glows with quiet luminosity.
At the center, a ceramic disc mirrors the outer ring... same clay, same glaze, same abalone and coral impressions. Moon within moon. The ocean floor, twice.
Below it, a wire wrapped ocean picture jasper drop, warm, elongated, the color of still water over sand.
