A full moon, a pressed sunburst and two half moons step down a single line. The glaze is Seafoam and clear... a soft sea green that catches the window light. Light brown leather holds it all together. Made slow in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California from B-mix speckle and Icelia porcelain clay, then kiln fired.
At just 2.5 inches wide and 9.25 inches tall, this tiered ceramic wall hanging is made for the narrow spots. The sliver of wall beside a door, between two windows, along a stairway or next to the bed. The moons read from top to bottom, so your eye travels up the wall and the room feels taller. Hang it where you will catch it as you pass, and the moon goes with you through the day.
