A scroll pattern is pressed into the rim and again around the small disc suspended at the center. Sierra speckled buff clay, kiln fired in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, then glazed in Sea Breeze... a soft grey blue green that pools and breaks over the pattern, with the raw clay edge left showing. The round form swells toward the bottom like a crescent moon holding its own small full one. Smoky topaz, kyanite and aventurine hang below on patina brass, tied with chocolate brown leather.
