Large Ceramic Windcatcher No. 27 | Smoke Grey + Raw Silk + Brass — FTF_1026

Sale price$89.00

This one is for the sunny corner. Warm ribbons, a soft grey bead, and a gentle sway.

A windcatcher is a hanging piece made to move with the air. A smoke grey ceramic bead sits above a tassel of raw silk ribbons in yellow, orange and teal, hung from a brass chain. Laguna speckled buff clay, kiln fired in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, then glazed in smoke grey... a soft, speckled neutral that lets the silk shine. Brass links catch the light.

Hang it beside a window or on a gallery wall and let the silk tassel catch the light. Or hang it free and let it spin. Give it the hallway, the reading nook or the bedroom. Out on a covered porch, a patio beam or pergola post lets it turn in the breeze while the silk stays out of the rain. This handmade windcatcher by Jester Swink comes from the From the Fire small batch releases that come out every 6 to 8 weeks, and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Raw silk keeps its natural texture, so every ribbon falls a little differently.
