These started with a piece of lace.
Real lace... pressed directly into fine silver metal clay while it was still soft. The texture embeds into the surface... honeycomb patterns, delicate florals — preserved forever in sterling silver. Every detail of the fabric captured. Every tiny opening held.
Then kiln fired. Then finished. Two different shapes — one oval, one rectangular — mismatched on purpose, because nothing in nature is perfectly symmetrical.
