A fern frond. The way each tiny leaflet fans out from the stem... perfectly symmetrical, perfectly wild.
I pressed one into clay and let it speak for itself.
What came out of the kiln was solid sterling silver, every delicate detail of that original fern preserved forever. The texture. The veins. The quiet geometry of something that's been growing on this earth for millions of years.
