Fiddlehead Mist Stack is a handmade ceramic wall hanging... three river rock forms threaded on dark brown leather with hand patinated brass and teal accent beads. Below them, a ceramic disc carries a real fiddlehead fern — gathered, preserved and molded so its spiral rises up from the surface of the clay, tactile and alive.
Sandy and ice blue glaze moves across the disc like morning mist through a fern grove. Cool and warm at once. The river rock forms above, the fiddlehead spiral below. Each element perfectly imperfect... balanced the way only handmade things can be.
