Every spring the monkey flower blooms along the trails of the Santa Cruz Mountains. I gathered one and pressed it directly into the clay — its petals and leaves leaving their mark forever. Grooves and channels that the emerald glaze settled into and brought to life in the kiln.
When it came out of the kiln I fell in love. And then I added the bronzite and green onyx... and my heart melted a little more.
This is handmade ceramic wall art the way it should be. Not printed. Not manufactured. Pressed from something real, kiln fired, and finished by hand.

Speckled river rock clay. Emerald glaze. Bronzite and green onyx hang at the center all from a camel leather cord... grounding and calming energies held together by the earth that made them. These colors... deep emerald, earthy bronze, and cool green are of the moment. But they've been in the earth far longer than any trend.
