The Art of Becoming: My Journey Through Clay, Jewelry & Artisan Home Décor
What Does It Mean to ‘Become’?
Becoming isn’t about arriving at a destination. It’s about trusting the process—embracing patience, learning from mistakes, and allowing growth to unfold in its own time.
For me, becoming means stepping into my truth as an artist, unbound by a single category. It’s about allowing my work to evolve organically, revealing connections I never expected. Over time, I’ve realized that my passion for handmade jewelry and artisan home décor aren’t separate—they are threads of the same creative expression, woven together through one medium: clay.
This journey has taught me that inspiration comes from giving yourself the freedom to create—without expectation, without fear. It’s about showing up, putting in the work, and trusting that the pieces will come together in time.
What does ‘becoming’ mean to you?

The Evolution of My Art: Finding My Medium
I started as a jewelry artist, crafting one-of-a-kind & limited edition jewelry in metal clay. But as time passed, I felt an urge to create on a larger scale—to work with textures, forms, and movement in a new way. This led me to handcrafted wall art, wind catchers, natural wall hangings, and nature-inspired décor.
And then, I discovered ceramic clay.
It started with sculpting mini bud vases with metal clay and soon evolved into something much bigger. Clay became my bridge between two worlds—between jewelry and natural wall hangings, between precision and organic form. I fell in love with the transformation it goes through—the shaping, the fire, the unpredictability of glaze. Clay became more than just a medium; it became my creative language.
But here’s the thing—this journey isn’t just mine. You are shaping me as much as I am shaping each piece. Every time a piece finds its home, every time someone connects with a design, it tells me something about the kind of artist I am becoming.
This collection isn’t just about my transformation—it’s about yours, too. Because every piece was made for someone. Maybe one was made for you.

We Are Not Bound by Category—In Art or in Life
I used to believe I had to fit into one category—a jewelry maker, a sculptor, a home décor artist. But what I’ve realized is that we are never just one thing.
Art is like life—it shifts, it evolves, it takes on new forms. We aren’t meant to stay fixed in one place. Whether in work, relationships, self-growth, or creativity, we are all becoming something new, every day.
This collection is a reflection of that truth: we are not bound by one path.
Where in your own life have you found yourself evolving beyond the boundaries you once thought defined you?

Women Who Embody the Art of Becoming
In honor of International Women’s Day and Month, The Art of Becoming is a tribute to strength, transformation, and resilience. This collection is not just about my journey as an artist—it’s about the evolution we all experience as women, constantly growing, pushing boundaries, and embracing change.
Throughout history, women have stepped into the unknown—breaking barriers, redefining industries, and shaping the world with courage. Like clay shaped by fire and metal refined through heat, we emerge stronger, more defined, and uniquely ourselves.
From Frida Kahlo’s bold self-expression to Maya Angelou’s poetic wisdom, from trailblazing entrepreneurs to everyday women standing in their power—we are all becoming.
This collection is a celebration of that journey, a reminder that transformation is always unfolding.
💛 Who is a woman in your life that has inspired your own becoming?

Nature, Art & Transformation
Handcrafted ceramic art transforms in fire. Semi-precious stones are shaped by time and pressure. Even metal, as hard as it is, can become liquid and take on new forms. Everything in nature is in a state of becoming.
This collection was inspired by the phases of the moon, the textures of earth, and the colors of space. You’ll find deep browns, soft whites, earthy greens, and vibrant turquoise woven throughout. The crescent and full moons appear in both my wall hangings and artisan jewelry, a quiet connection between two forms of art.
I love how nature mirrors our own evolution. It moves through life, turmoil, decay, and rebirth. Like us, it grows through every challenge, every season. It thrives, despite unpredictability.
Where in your own life do you see nature’s lessons reflected?

The Collection – A Reflection of Growth
This is my first collection where handmade artisan home décor and one-of-a-kind jewelry come together intentionally.
These pieces share a continuity of shapes, textures, and intentions. They reflect my journey—how my love for handcrafted jewelry led me to ceramic art, how one form of creation naturally flowed into another. This collection is about breaking boundaries, trusting transformation, and creating with intention.
Just like my artistic journey, each of these pieces tells a story of evolution. And I’m so grateful to share them with you.
The Art of Becoming is my journey as an evolving artist, always inspired by the nature that surrounds us. It’s evolution. It’s beauty.
What’s Next in Your Becoming?
I leave you with this question:
Where are you in your own journey of becoming?
Maybe you’re stepping into something new. Maybe you’re in the messy middle. Maybe you’re refining, strengthening, growing into exactly who you’re meant to be.
Wherever you are—trust it.
And if this collection resonates with you, I hope you’ll find a piece that reflects your own journey. Because just like art, we are all beautifully, constantly, becoming.
